Herbs Made Easy Fresh Herb Recipes

Chicken Blend Seasons 1 whole chicken. Chop herbs and add to 1 cup olive or vegetable oil, then add to blender. Blend for 5-10 seconds. Pour half of herb-oil mixture onto whole chicken. Fully coat outside of skin and underneath skin. Cook chicken as desired. Baste with remaining herb-oil mixture 30 minutes before end of cooking process. Fish Blend Seasons 4-6 servings. Chop herbs finely. Add 3/4 of the chopped herbs to a half cup of olive or vegetable oil, then add to blender. Blend 5-10 seconds. Coat fish with the herb-oil mixture. Cook fish as desired. Sprinkle remaining chopped herbs over finished dish. Pork Blend Seasons 1 roast or 6-8 chops. Chop herbs and add to 1 cup olive or vegetable oil, then add to blender. Blend for 5-10 seconds. Coat pork with herb-oil mixture. Cook pork as desired. When cooking process is complete, cover pork and allow to rest for 5 minutes. Spoon pan drippings over cooked pork just before serving. Vegetable Blend Seasons 6-8 servings or 1 family-style vegetable dish. Complements all vegetables - including potatoes, beets, asparagus, beans, squashes, peas, onions, carrots, tomatoes & roots. Chop herbs. Add 3/4 of the chopped herbs to a half cup of olive or vegetable oil, then add to blender. Blend 5-10 seconds. Toss raw vegetables in herb-oil mixture. Cook as desired. Sprinkle remaining chopped herbs over finished dish. Shellfish Blend Seasons 4-6 servings. Slice lemongrass crosswise into thin slices. Strip thyme from stem. Leave bay leaf whole. Add lemongrass, bay leaf and 1/2 thyme leaves to shellfish cooking liquid. Cook shellfish as desired. At the end of the cooking process, remove lemongrass slices and bay leaf. Sprinkle remaining thyme leaves atop finished dish. Beef Blend Seasons 1 prime rib, tenderloin or similar roast. Chop herbs and add to 1 cup olive or vegetable oil, then add to blender. Blend for 5-10 seconds. Entirely coat beef with 3/4 of herb-oil mixture before cooking. Cook beef as desired. 30 minutes before the end of the cooking process, baste the beef with remaining herb-oil mixture. Ham Blend Seasons 1 whole ham. Chop herbs and add to 1 cup olive or vegetable oil, then add to blender. Blend for 5-10 seconds. Coat ham thoroughly with te herb-oil mixture. Cook ham as desired. Spoon pan drippings over ham before serving, or serve pan drippings on the side. Mint Julep Needed - 2 cups sugar, 2 cups water, crushed ice, 32 ounces bourbon/whiskey. Yeild = 16 servings. To make mint syrup - combine sugar and water in a small pot, bring to a boil, then set aside to rest. Place in a pitcher with 7 mint sprigs, cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Fill cups with ice. Add 1 tablespoon of cooled mint syrup and 2 ounces bourbon/whiskey. Add a splash of cold water or soda if desired. Garnish with extra mint leaves. Drink responsibly.
