Yellowfoot Chanterelles:

Fresh & wild yellowfoot chanterelles are smaller and more delicate than their larger cousins - golden chanterelles. Yellowfoots have an exotic earthy/fruity flavor that is delicious. Their texture is moister and chewier than that of golden chanterelles. These mushrooms are entirely edible. Wipe with a damp cloth or brush off to clean before cooking. Sauté or roast with butter and herbs for a real culilnary treat. Serve alongside red meat, pork, poultry, game, or salmon entrées. Use in soups, stuffings, and sauces too. Please call for lead time and minimum order requirements - which may change daily.




Huckleberries - the wild cousins of blueberries - taste a little sweet with a nice tart bite. We stock 5# cases of frozen huckleberries. Use them in cobblers, pies, and cakes. They're also great in frozen desserts and cheesecakes. And they make excellent sauces (sweet or savory) and syrups. Stock item.
